From Book DNA to a finished book trailer: Blueprint, audio, visuals and optional PixVerse C1 rendering in 720p Standard or 1080p Premium with shot review in one workflow.
The same profile keeps tone, audience, positioning and visual direction consistent across every tool.
Selected real cover, key-art, trailer and website examples from HSP Content Production.

Author Tools creates the structured 60–120 second production workflow. Use the pack externally or let Complete Trailer render a finished PixVerse C1 master directly in 720p Standard or 1080p Premium.
Choose length, style, intensity, dialogue language, narration language and up to four Book-DNA characters. Receive the shot list, copy-paste prompts, dialogue, narration, text cards and continuity guidance.
The blueprint creates stable visual descriptions and Character Sheet directions so the same identities can be reused as references on external video platforms.
Optionally generate an instrumental main prompt, alternate prompt and music-direction notes matched to trailer length and dramatic arc — no vocals and no lyrics.
Generate the approved narration with xAI Voice (standard) or ElevenLabs. Preset voices only; custom voice cloning is not offered.
Turn the verified Music Prompt into an instrumental Stable Audio 3.0 trailer track, then listen, review and download it in the same studio.
Generate up to four Character Sheets plus one finished 16:9 YouTube thumbnail. Download the image assets immediately for later use.
Use Sora, Veo/Flow, Runway, Kling, Higgsfield or another text/image-to-video platform. Every shot prompt explicitly requests no background music so narration and score can be mixed later.
Download the production pack as text and combine it with Character Sheets, narration, music prompt and thumbnail for your final edit and YouTube release.
Start small. Upgrade when your catalogue grows.
For one active book workflow.
For active independent authors.
For small presses and studios.
For publishing houses, agencies and professional content teams managing larger catalogues.
Book-slot rule: A book slot is consumed when AI processing is first used for that book. Deleting an AI-processed book does not restore the slot during the current billing period. A book that has not used AI processing can be deleted and replaced without consuming a slot. Trial includes one book slot for the entire 7-day trial.
Optional one-time credit packs for active paid subscribers. Purchased credits are used after included monthly credits and do not reset at month-end.
Use the same email address as your HSP Author Tools account in the Payhip checkout. Top-ups require an active Creator, Author Pro or Publisher subscription. Before checkout, you must actively request immediate performance and acknowledge the applicable statutory withdrawal consequences. Final VAT/tax, billing interval and purchase terms are shown in the Payhip checkout. For fraud and price protection, credit top-ups are auto-credited only when the payment is in EUR and at least the configured pack price. Coupon or discounted top-ups require manual review unless explicitly enabled by HSP.
7 days free · 5 text credits · no card required. Cover generation and manuscript editing tools require a paid plan. Paid plans start when you choose to upgrade. The final gross price, applicable VAT/taxes, renewal interval and purchase conditions are shown before payment in the Payhip checkout. Payhip provides the checkout/commerce layer and Stripe processes payment; HSP Author Tools does not receive full card details.

HSP Author Tools creates AI-assisted text, concepts, images and websites. Outputs may contain errors and must be reviewed for factual, legal, technical and creative suitability before publication. Users are responsible for having the necessary rights to uploaded or entered content and for lawful use of generated outputs. AI outputs are not warranted to be unique or free from third-party rights.
This website may link to external services and platforms. The respective external provider is responsible for its content and privacy practices. External services are contacted only after the user actively opens the corresponding link, except for technical services explicitly described in the Privacy Notice.
Language note: This English version is provided for convenience. In case of a material discrepancy, the German legal text available on the German interface is the controlling reference, subject to mandatory consumer law.
These Terms govern the use of HSP Author Tools, its AI-assisted functions, credits, subscriptions and manuscript services.
Language note: This is an English convenience translation of the German Terms. If the two versions materially differ, the German version is the controlling reference to the extent permitted by mandatory law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
HSP Author Tools is provided by HSP Content Production, owner Heinz Siegfried Pestner, 8181 Dörfl an der Raab 101, Austria. These Terms apply to registered users and paid functions unless a checkout or mandatory law provides otherwise.
Consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted under Austrian law or other mandatorily applicable law remain unaffected.
HSP Author Tools is an AI-assisted creative and production platform for authors, publishers and content producers. Depending on the selected plan and available credits, it can provide Book DNA analysis, marketing copy, publisher/agent pitches, editorial reports, automatic manuscript polishing, cover images, website files, press kits, visual concepts, publishing intelligence, trailer and audiobook workflows, BookCast podcasts and Reader Loop pages with dynamic QR links, backlist/series cross-promotion and scan/click statistics.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the service is software-assisted support and not individual legal, tax, financial, publishing, medical or other regulated professional advice, nor a substitute for a human editor or other specialist.
AI systems are probabilistic. Even when current models, customary safeguards and technology reflecting the available state of the art are used, outputs may contain factual, linguistic, stylistic, logical, legal, technical, typographical or other errors, omissions and unexpected results.
This applies in particular to Book DNA, pitches, marketing copy, translations, editorial reports, automatic corrections, covers and image text, website code, metadata, summaries, character or plot analysis, podcast scripts, synthetic speech, audio/video masters and publishing or marketing suggestions.
Multilingual outputs may be requested in languages/locales supported by the active AI model. Quality, idiom, terminology, dialect and register can vary by language. Multilingual results are therefore also subject to mandatory independent review.
Every output must be independently reviewed and, where necessary, corrected, edited, legally checked or technically tested before publication, submission, printing, sale, distribution or other use. The user remains responsible for the final decision to use an output.
The mere fact that an AI output contains an error, differs from a personal expectation, requires manual editing or changes between generations does not automatically constitute a technical or contractual defect of the service where the service itself was provided as agreed. To the extent legally permissible, this alone does not create a claim for damages, refund, rescission or other compensation. Mandatory statutory warranty, withdrawal and damages rights remain unaffected.
Book DNA and Editorial Report are AI-assisted analytical services. They may overlook passages, misunderstand narrative intent, infer connections incorrectly or identify non-existent continuity issues. Reports are working material for the user's own editorial process and do not constitute a guaranteed human editorial assessment.
Auto Polish is started only by the user. It is intended to correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, clearly awkward wording and obvious local continuity slips while preserving voice and story. Nevertheless, unintended changes to meaning, tone, dialogue, names, chronology or formatting may occur. The corrected manuscript must be compared with the original before publication. Complex DOCX formatting, footnotes, comments, styles and embedded objects are not guaranteed in a clean DOCX export.
Generated covers and images are creative AI outputs. HSP Author Tools does not guarantee unique composition, perfect typography, print readiness, trademark clearance, copyright clearance or absence of similarities to existing works. Users must review image text, title/author spelling, rights and production specifications before use.
Generated websites are standalone draft deliverables and may contain technical, linguistic, accessibility, compatibility or legal deficiencies. Users must test code, links, responsive display, legal notices and any commercial deployment before publication. HSP Author Tools does not provide hosting uptime or legal-compliance certification for generated websites.
Reader Loop™ can provide a persistent QR/reader link whose published destinations and promoted titles can later be changed without replacing the QR already printed in books. Users remain responsible for the accuracy, legality, availability and rights status of linked shops, bonus content, downloads, newsletters and other external destinations. Scan/click figures are technical estimates and can be affected by bots, blockers, network/device changes and other technical factors.
The Book-to-Screen Studio creates an AI-assisted working basis for adaptation conversations. Its 0–100 readiness score and sub-scores are heuristic development assessments, not probabilities, financial forecasts, current-market measurements or predictions of producer interest. It is not an agency, brokerage or legal service. No producer interest, option, funding or production is promised. Funding, rights and contact details must be verified before use. The optional review by a film director is a personal professional assessment and likewise not a brokerage service.
The AI Search Visibility package provides copy and structured data intended to make a book easier for AI systems to classify and understand when relevant. HSP Content Production does not control crawling, indexing, training data, retrieval, ranking or answers produced by third-party AI services. No inclusion, citation, mention, recommendation, traffic or particular visibility is guaranteed.
The Book-to-Screenplay Studio first creates an Adaptation Blueprint from a manuscript supplied by the user and then creates an AI-assisted Screenplay Development Draft. It is expressly not a submission-ready, production-ready, industry-reviewed or professionally approved screenplay.
The service may reorder, compress, combine or omit scenes; alter or merge character functions; and translate novel prose, interior thought and narration into visual action and dialogue. This can introduce inaccurate or unwanted changes to meaning, continuity, tone, character logic, chronology, locations, dialogue, formatting or dramatic emphasis. The complete draft must be read in full, independently corrected and dramaturgically revised before professional use and, where appropriate, reviewed by a qualified screenwriter.
Before generation the user must confirm that they own or control the adaptation rights necessary for the requested use. HSP Content Production does not independently verify those rights. The service does not guarantee representation, agency contact, submission readiness, optioning, financing, sale, production, festival acceptance or any other market outcome.
Screenplay Draft credit cost depends on manuscript length as determined server-side and is displayed before generation begins. A completed saved draft can be reopened and re-exported without another generation charge. A fundamentally new adaptation direction or new draft may require new credits. For interrupted multi-stage jobs, the credit and resume conditions displayed before the run apply; mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
The Publishing House Workspace is a collaboration and review layer for eligible Publisher and Enterprise accounts. Workspace owners can invite other registered HSP Author Tools users and assign roles such as Admin, Editor, Marketing or Viewer. Invited users receive only the catalogue, workflow-status, comments, approvals and management information exposed by the Workspace for linked books; the Workspace does not automatically grant access to the book owner's manuscript, private Book DNA content, private generated media files or unrestricted account data.
Each book remains owned by the HSP Author Tools account that created or saved it. AI generations and credit charges remain associated with that book owner's account unless a future Enterprise agreement explicitly provides otherwise. Workspace roles do not transfer copyright, publishing rights, adaptation rights or ownership of books or generated assets.
Workspace members must use invitations and shared information only for legitimate collaboration. Owners and Admins are responsible for inviting the correct people, removing access when it is no longer required and reviewing role assignments. Release approval inside the Workspace is an internal project status only and is not a legal, editorial, retailer or distribution certification.
The Trailer Audio Studio can send user-approved narration text, a selected preset voice identifier and technical synthesis parameters to the selected Voice Engine — xAI or ElevenLabs — for text-to-speech generation and can send the verified Trailer Music Prompt plus technical duration/model parameters to Stability AI for instrumental music generation. These are third-party AI services and their applicable terms, usage restrictions and technical availability also apply.
AI audio is probabilistic and requires human listening and review. Voice-over may contain pronunciation, timing, emotion, accent or emphasis errors. Generated music may contain unwanted artefacts or similarities to musical patterns or existing material. HSP Author Tools does not guarantee uniqueness, copyrightability, copyright/trademark clearance, absence of third-party rights, commercial suitability or acceptance by YouTube, Amazon, Meta or any other platform.
Only provider preset/default voices are offered in this workflow; custom voice cloning is not provided. Users must not use voice generation to impersonate, deceptively imitate or misrepresent an identifiable natural person and must hold all necessary rights and permissions for narration text and other supplied material. Music requests must not seek to imitate living artists, named bands, film scores, copyrighted works or recognizable copyrighted melodies.
Users remain responsible for required AI labelling/disclosure, performer/personality rights, copyright review, platform rules and all publication decisions. Voice generation costs 2 HSP credits with xAI Voice, 3 HSP credits with ElevenLabs Flash, or 4 HSP credits with Eleven v3. Stable Audio 3.0 music generation costs 4 HSP credits per successful generation. A failed provider/moderation/technical request that does not deliver usable audio releases the reserved HSP credits under the normal reservation logic. Generated audio is returned to the current browser session. To recover interrupted deliveries and reuse matching audio in Complete Trailer, a private non-public copy may be cached for up to 7 days and then deleted. Users should still download and archive the file themselves.
The optional Complete Trailer workflow submits verified shot prompts and user-supplied or Trailer-Studio-stored character references server-side to fal.ai / Features & Labels, Inc. for AI video generation. New productions use PixVerse C1 through fal.ai as the unified video engine. 720p is the standard resolution; 1080p is an optional Full-HD Premium tier with a higher credit price. Shots with character references can use PixVerse Reference-to-Video while other shots use Text-to-Video. The approved cut is then combined with voice-over, music and optional text cards into the MP4 master; CloudConvert with FFmpeg may be used for final mastering. Provider models, availability and technical implementation may be adjusted to maintain the service; the credit price shown before job start remains decisive.
Complete Trailer is an AI-assisted production service and delivers an automatically assembled production master, not an advertisement individually finished by a human editor. AI-generated shots may contain creative or aesthetic imperfections, minor continuity variations, unwanted details or timing that benefits from human adjustment. Normal post-production needs and subjective quality preferences are therefore not automatically a technical or contractual failure. Every shot and the final master must be fully reviewed before publication and edited where appropriate. No guarantee is made as to uniqueness, copyrightability, third-party-rights clearance, factual accuracy, character continuity, platform acceptance or commercial performance. Mandatory statutory warranty and consumer rights remain unaffected.
The total Complete Trailer price is 200, 300 or 400 HSP credits at 720p and 260, 390 or 520 HSP credits for 1080p Premium, depending on target duration. Eligible credits already used for the current Trailer Studio production are applied once toward this total, up to 25 credits. One creative replacement shot is included. Credits are reserved at job start. If the user cancels before a provider render is submitted, the reservation is released. After provider rendering has begun, a user-requested cancellation may charge only the already-started portion under the server-side settlement logic and releases the unused reserved portion. Hard technical/provider failures preventing completion are handled by the server-side failure logic. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
After successful finalization the finished MP4 master is stored for project recovery in a private Supabase storage area and is delivered through time-limited secure URLs. Provider-hosted intermediate and shot files may still be temporary. Users should also download and independently archive the final master. Users must own or control all required rights in manuscripts, images, logos, characters and reference material and obtain required permissions for identifiable people. Deceptive impersonation or unauthorized use of a real person, public figure or celebrity likeness is prohibited. AI-generated content must be labelled or disclosed wherever applicable law, contract, platform policy or publication context requires it.
The Book-to-Audiobook Studio creates an AI-assisted, persistent production Blueprint from a manuscript supplied by the user. It may identify recurring speaking characters, propose neutral voice profiles, assign dialogue spans to characters and suggest pronunciation entries. Character detection, dialogue attribution and pronunciation suggestions can be wrong and must be reviewed and corrected by the user before paid voice generation.
The user must own or control all rights required to create and distribute the audiobook. Only approved provider preset voices are offered in this release; custom voice cloning is not part of the service. The service must not be used for deceptive impersonation or unauthorized imitation of an identifiable natural person. AI narration can contain pronunciation, accent, emotion, pacing, continuity or speaker-assignment errors, and every produced chapter must be listened to in full before publication.
The Audiobook Blueprint costs 8, 12 or 16 HSP credits depending on manuscript word count as calculated server-side. Chapter production is quoted server-side at one HSP credit per 1,250 renderable characters with xAI Voice, rounded up. ElevenLabs Premium costs twice the chapter credit amount. Production starts only after explicit confirmation. Unchanged chapter masters may be reused without another voice-generation charge. The optional complete M4B production costs 18 HSP credits. Technical/provider failures are handled through server-side reservation/partial-settlement logic; already rendered provider work may be charged proportionally where applicable. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
To make the project resumable, the normalized manuscript chapter text, editable speaker segmentation, cast, narrator settings, pronunciation dictionary and finished chapter masters can be stored in the user's private HSP workspace until the audiobook project is deleted, subject to legal retention obligations. MP3 and M4B exports remain subject to final human quality control and the technical requirements of the chosen distributor. As of September 2026, ACX generally requires submitted audiobooks to be human-narrated unless otherwise authorized. Audible separately operates authorized Virtual Voice and Voice Replica programs. Other stores can require synthetic-voice disclosure or impose their own rules. Users must verify the current rules of their target distributor before paid production; HSP does not guarantee platform acceptance.
BookCast Studio creates a spoiler-safe promotional podcast from the manuscript-derived Book DNA already available for the selected book. The original manuscript does not need to be uploaded again. Structured Book-DNA content, including internal synopsis, character, theme, setting and marketing information, may be sent server-side to OpenAI to create the podcast script. The workflow first creates a spoiler-safety boundary, writes the conversation only from the approved safe source and then performs an additional automated spoiler check against the internal Book DNA.
The spoiler firewall reduces risk but cannot guarantee absolute zero spoiler disclosure. A user-edited script is checked again automatically before audio production. Users must nevertheless review the complete script and finished podcast themselves and remain responsible for publication. The same applies to facts, pronunciation, names, book titles, platform rules and required AI disclosure.
For audio generation, individual conversation segments, selected preset voice IDs, language and technical synthesis parameters are sent server-side to xAI (standard) or ElevenLabs (premium). Custom voice cloning is not part of the service. Two-host productions require different voices. Generated segments may be sent through temporarily signed URLs to CloudConvert for MP3 mastering. The final normalized MP3 master is then stored for project recovery in a private Supabase storage area; temporary segments are cleaned up within the production workflow after successful mastering.
BookCast includes a pronunciation guard for the book title. The visible book-title spelling remains unchanged; a separate spoken-title form may be stored or corrected by the user for TTS. This is a pronunciation aid and not a guarantee of error-free pronunciation. Proper names, invented words, abbreviations and foreign-language terms may still require manual correction.
The editable BookCast script costs 2 HSP credits. If production follows, those 2 credits are applied toward the total price. The total price for 5/8/12 minutes is 10/15/22 credits with xAI and 20/30/45 credits with ElevenLabs Premium. Once a script has been successfully delivered, its 2 script credits remain consumed. If a subsequent audio/master production fails technically without delivering a usable podcast master, the reserved production charge is released under the server-side failure logic. Users must own the necessary rights in the book and supplied content; deceptive identity impersonation or unauthorized use of an identifiable person's voice is prohibited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Users may upload or enter only material they are legally entitled to process. This includes manuscripts, excerpts, images, cover material, author biographies, logos, names and other third-party content. Users are responsible for securing required permissions, licences and releases.
Content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, introduces malware or attempts to circumvent safety, credit or access controls is prohibited.
Subject to applicable law and third-party provider terms, users may use generated outputs for their own publishing and marketing purposes. No representation is made that an AI-generated output qualifies for exclusive copyright protection in every jurisdiction, is unique, or cannot resemble other generated or existing material.
Users remain responsible for checking third-party rights, platform rules and any required attribution or licence conditions before commercial use.
Account credentials must be kept confidential. Users may not sell, share or transfer accounts in a manner intended to circumvent plan or usage limits. HSP Author Tools may use rate limits, CAPTCHA, session validation, device/fraud signals and similar technical safeguards to protect the service.
Users must promptly notify HSP Content Production if they reasonably suspect unauthorized account use.
A forgotten password can be reset at any time via “Forgot password?” in the sign-in dialog. You may request deletion of your account at any time informally (e.g. by email to iac@gmx.at); statutory retention obligations for billing records remain unaffected.
The Virtual Beta Reader is a simulated AI reader perspective, not a real human reader, focus group, review or market survey. It may be useful for identifying possible reader reactions but cannot predict how actual readers will respond.
Series Bible and continuity analysis reuses structured Book DNA and may identify possible contradictions or open threads. Missing information must not be treated as proof of a contradiction; users must verify findings against the manuscripts.
Retail Metadata Studio provides descriptions, keyword directions, category/BISAC directions, SEO metadata and positioning suggestions. Unless a service explicitly states that live research was performed, it does not provide live keyword volumes, retailer rankings, sales data or guaranteed current taxonomy placement. Retail categories, metadata rules and age/content requirements must be checked against the current retailer or distribution platform.
Credits are internal service units, not money, legal tender, stored value or transferable property. Included monthly credits and separately purchased top-up credits may be consumed according to the service price displayed before generation. Unless expressly stated otherwise, unused included monthly credits do not roll over; purchased wallet credits are used after included credits and currently do not reset monthly. If the available balance is insufficient, the function is not started and nothing is charged.
Order and validity. Credits are consumed in this order: first the included monthly credits, then purchased top-up credits. Unused monthly credits expire at the end of the respective billing period. Purchased top-up credits do not expire at month-end. If the subscription ends, existing top-up credits remain stored in the wallet and can be used again after starting a new paid plan. The current balance is always visible in the Billing Center.
Free trial. The trial lasts 7 days, includes 5 text credits and one book slot, requires no payment details and does not convert automatically into a paid subscription. Unused trial credits end when the trial ends.
Credit reservations and completion are handled server-side. A technically failed eligible generation is generally released or refunded to the credit balance. Abuse, manipulated requests, repeated artificial failures or attempts to obtain outputs without the corresponding credit charge may result in suspension.
Reader Loop publishing, dynamic QR links and basic scan/click statistics are included within the displayed paid-plan limits without additional credit consumption. Optional AI-written Reader Loop copy is charged as a normal text generation at the credit price shown before execution. Top-ups require an active paid subscription. Refunds, reversals or chargebacks can reduce the credit wallet, including creating an internal negative balance where already-used purchased credits are later refunded or reversed.
Eligible new generations include one corrective revision at no additional credit charge for seven days from the original generation. A revision may correct errors, names, wording, readability, a CTA, a minor layout/style issue, or a small cover correction while preserving the original concept.
A fundamentally new creative direction, full rewrite or translation, new audience, new concept, major website redesign or substantially different cover scene/composition is a new generation and is charged accordingly. HSP Author Tools may use automated classification to distinguish a corrective revision from a new creative request.
If the included revision is rejected as a new creative direction or fails technically before a usable revised output is delivered, the included revision is not considered consumed. Further eligible text/website revisions currently cost 1 credit; further cover corrective rerenders currently cost 3 credits. The displayed price at the time of request applies.
The included revision does not constitute a guarantee that an AI output will be error-free. Revised outputs also require independent review.
Current plan and top-up prices are displayed before checkout. Paid subscriptions and credit packs are sold through Payhip; payment is processed by Stripe or another payment method offered in the Payhip checkout. Final gross price, applicable VAT/tax, billing interval, renewal and purchase conditions are shown in the checkout and take precedence over non-binding promotional copy.
HSP Author Tools does not receive complete payment-card details. Payment, refund and subscription status data necessary to provision the service are processed through the relevant payment providers.
An ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period already paid; the plan remains usable until then. Price changes for running subscriptions apply only to future billing periods and are announced by email at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel at any time before they take effect; periods already paid remain unaffected.
The mere fact that an account or credits become technically available immediately does not automatically eliminate statutory consumer withdrawal rights. Where a consumer asks for performance to begin during a statutory withdrawal period, HSP Author Tools requires an explicit request for immediate performance and acknowledgement of the statutory consequences before checkout where required.
For services, the right of withdrawal may, subject to the statutory requirements, expire only after full performance. If a consumer validly withdraws after expressly requesting early performance but before full completion, statutory consequences may include payment of a proportionate amount for services already performed.
For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, separate statutory requirements may apply to loss of the withdrawal right, including express consent, acknowledgement and the required contractual confirmation. Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer withdrawal rights.
The footer of every page and the Billing Center provide a “Withdraw from contract” button. It remains continuously available throughout the withdrawal period – also without signing in. After entering your name, email address and the contract concerned (e.g. order number), you declare the withdrawal via “Confirm withdrawal”. HSP Content Production promptly sends an acknowledgment of receipt including the content of the declaration and the date and time of receipt by email (durable medium). You may still declare withdrawal in any other unambiguous way, for example by email to iac@gmx.at.
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via the “Cancel contracts here” button (footer and Billing Center), via the Payhip customer account or by email. You will promptly receive a confirmation including content, date and time.
HSP Author Tools depends on third-party infrastructure and AI/payment providers including Supabase, OpenAI, EdgeOne, Payhip and Stripe. Continuous, interruption-free or error-free availability is not guaranteed. Functions may be changed, replaced, rate-limited or temporarily unavailable for maintenance, security, provider changes, legal requirements or technical reasons.
Reasonable changes may be made to plans, credit prices, models and features. Material changes affecting an existing paid contractual relationship will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Users remain responsible for final review and for decisions based on generated outputs. To the extent legally permissible, HSP Content Production is not liable for losses caused solely by the unreviewed use of AI-generated text, images, code, metadata, market suggestions or other working drafts, nor for indirect losses, lost profits, lost opportunities or third-party platform decisions that were not caused by a breach for which HSP Content Production is legally responsible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by mandatory law, including liability for intent, legally non-excludable gross negligence, injury to life/body/health, mandatory product liability or mandatory consumer warranty/damages rights.
Prohibited conduct includes circumventing credits or rate limits, using multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials, manipulating checkout/webhook metadata, scraping or automated abuse, attacks on security controls, unauthorized resale of accounts, fraudulent chargebacks and use of the service for unlawful content or rights infringement.
HSP Content Production may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, payment integrity or legal compliance. Where required by law, appropriate notice and remedies will be provided.
Processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Notice. Manuscript and AI processing is performed only as required for the requested service, subject to the technical architecture described there.
These Terms may be updated due to new functions, security requirements, provider changes or changes in law. Where a change is material or legally requires renewed consent, users will be asked to accept the new version. The accepted version is associated with the user account.
Austrian law applies to the extent legally permissible. Mandatory consumer protections, including mandatory rules of the consumer's country of habitual residence and mandatory consumer jurisdiction, remain unaffected.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to iac@gmx.at or to HSP Content Production, 8181 Dörfl an der Raab 101, Austria.
This Privacy Notice describes what data HSP Author Tools processes, why it is processed and what rights users have.
Language note: This English text is provided as a convenience translation. The German privacy text remains the controlling reference where a discrepancy exists, subject to mandatory data-protection law.

For account administration, subscriptions, billing, credits, security, fraud/abuse prevention, support and HSP compliance purposes, HSP generally acts as an independent controller. Where a business customer acts as controller and submits personal data inside manuscripts, reference material or other customer content solely for execution of a selected tool in HSP Author Tools, HSP may act as a processor under Article 28 GDPR.
For that processor relationship HSP provides a separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA/AVV), including current technical and organisational measures, sub-processor information and feature-specific retention rules. Special-category, Article 10 and children's personal data are not intended for processing unless expressly agreed and lawfully/technically approved in advance.
Depending on use, HSP Author Tools may process account and contact data, book/profile information, campaign and workspace data, Reader Loop configurations and scan/click events, service usage and credit events, security/session data, Terms and purchase-consent records, payment/subscription status information, and content actively submitted for AI processing such as prompts, manuscript text or PDF files.
Complete card data is not received by HSP Author Tools.
Data is processed to create and manage accounts, provide requested AI and publishing services, synchronize workspace data, administer subscriptions and credits, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain system security, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. Depending on the processing activity, legal bases include performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, legitimate interests in secure and reliable operation, legal obligations and consent where required.
The Author Tools website is delivered through the configured hosting/CDN environment. Normal technical connection data such as IP address, timestamp, requested resource, browser/user-agent and security information can be processed by hosting/network providers as necessary to deliver and protect the service.
Supabase is used for authentication, database functions, Edge Functions and workspace synchronization. Account identifiers, book profiles, generated-output metadata, subscription/credit information, security events, Terms acceptance and other service data necessary for operation can be processed there. Row Level Security and server-side functions are used to restrict access.
More information: Supabase Privacy.
When a user actively starts text, cover, website, Book DNA, Virtual Beta Reader, series, metadata, editorial or manuscript-correction processing, the profile, prompt and, where required, manuscript data needed for that request is sent server-side to the OpenAI API. DOCX, EPUB and TXT text extraction takes place locally in the browser. The original manuscript file is not stored in the HSP workspace. Exception: in the Book-to-Audiobook workflow the extracted, normalized chapter text is stored persistently (see section 6c). Very long text may be reduced to distributed excerpts for resource-efficient analysis. PDF analysis can send the PDF at a low visual-detail setting.
For Book DNA, only the resulting structured profile is stored in the workspace, not the original manuscript. Editorial reports can be saved in the book profile. Auto Polish processes text chunks and reassembles corrected text in the browser; the complete corrected novel is not persistently stored in the HSP workspace.
For Book-to-Screenplay Studio, the selected manuscript is transmitted in sections for the requested server-side AI processing. The original manuscript is not stored as a persistent screenplay source file in the workspace. The Adaptation Blueprint, technical job metadata, generated screenplay sections and the completed Screenplay Development Draft may be stored so an already generated result can later be reopened and exported.
According to OpenAI's current API data controls, API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the organization explicitly opts into data sharing. API content may be retained for abuse monitoring for a limited period under the applicable OpenAI API data-retention configuration.
Please do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential third-party manuscript information or content without appropriate rights. More information: OpenAI API Data Controls.
Format Studio: When e-book and print files are created, the manuscript is read, typeset and packaged locally in the browser only; the files are downloaded directly to your device and are not stored in our workspace. For unlocking and the structure check, only chapter headings, word counts, short chapter openings (up to 140 characters) and short heading-like lines are processed server-side and sent to the OpenAI API for that purpose; the cover stored in the book profile may also be sent to generate alt text. We store the unlock period, word count, a manuscript checksum and export events (format, trim size, template).
Print Cover Studio: The finished wrap PDF is generated locally in the browser from the front cover, approved back-cover copy and calculated page/trim data and is not stored in our workspace. An optional high-resolution front cover loaded only for print stays local to the current browser session and is not uploaded or stored. The backend stores only the 30-day unlock and cover-export events with page count, trim size and paper type.
When a signed-in user explicitly starts Market Intelligence, selected book-profile information such as title, genre, description, audience, comparable-title context, Book DNA and an optional author-edited Book Bible is sent server-side to OpenAI so the service can formulate web-search queries and analyze current public sources. The feature uses OpenAI's hosted web-search capability and stores the resulting market report, source URLs, citation metadata, target market and timestamp in the user's private workspace. HSP does not submit the original manuscript to web search for this function.
Web research can contact or retrieve information from public third-party websites through the provider's search infrastructure. Users should therefore avoid including confidential unpublished information, sensitive personal data or trade secrets in fields used for Market Intelligence. Public listings, prices and market conditions can change and must be rechecked before business decisions.
When a signed-in user actively requests a voice-over in Trailer Audio Studio, the required narration text, selected preset voice identifier, selected model and technical request metadata are sent server-side to the selected Voice Engine, xAI or ElevenLabs. xAI use requires an additional provider confirmation before generation. HSP Author Tools does not offer custom voice cloning in this workflow. When a user requests trailer music, the already verified Trailer Music Prompt, requested duration and model/technical parameters are sent server-side to Stability AI.
The resulting audio is relayed to the user's current browser session for listening and download and is not persistently stored as a reusable audio asset in the HSP workspace. So that an interrupted transfer does not leave a paid but lost result, the file is kept briefly (by default for up to 7 days) in your private storage area and then deleted automatically. For billing, abuse prevention, idempotency and security, HSP may store generation metadata such as user/book identifiers, a random client request identifier, provider/model, input hash, HSP credit amount, status, output byte count, consent confirmations and timestamps. API keys remain server-side.
Provider-side processing and retention are governed by the respective provider terms, privacy notices and contractual settings. Users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal data and must have the necessary rights to submitted material.
When a signed-in user actively starts Complete Trailer, HSP Author Tools sends the required shot prompts and, where selected, temporary signed URLs for character/reference images to fal.ai / Features & Labels, Inc. The provider returns technical queue identifiers and generated video URLs. Later production steps can also send approved shot URLs, temporary title-card images and temporary audio URLs to fal.ai composition services. Legacy in-flight jobs created before the current hybrid pipeline may still finish an already-started upscaling task.
HSP stores job metadata needed for billing, idempotency, progress, abuse prevention and recovery, including user/book IDs, target duration, HSP credit reservation, model/endpoint identifiers, prompt hashes, fal request/status information, consent confirmations, shot status and output URLs. The FAL API key remains server-side. Character references and temporary audio/title-card assets are stored in a private Supabase bucket for the production workflow. Provider output URLs and retention are governed by fal.ai's applicable terms and settings; HSP does not promise permanent storage of provider-hosted video files. fal.ai may process service/usage data under its then-current provider terms and contractual settings; HSP does not control provider-side retention beyond those settings.
Do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal data. Users are responsible for having a lawful basis and all necessary rights/consents for reference images and identifiable people.
For Book-to-Audiobook, the manuscript text required for the Audiobook Blueprint and dialogue-attribution analysis can be sent server-side to OpenAI. HSP may use distributed excerpts for the initial cast/production analysis and the relevant chapter text for dialogue attribution. The normalized manuscript text is then stored chapter by chapter, together with its checksum, the editable Audiobook Blueprint, cast and narrator settings, pronunciation entries, speaker segmentation, production-job metadata and finished chapter masters in a private Supabase workspace so the project can be resumed and selectively regenerated later. These audiobook project contents remain until the user deletes the audiobook project or storage is otherwise removed in accordance with account/legal retention requirements.
When the user explicitly starts chapter production, the text required for each voice block, the selected provider voice identifier and technical synthesis metadata are sent server-side to the Voice Engine selected in the Audiobook Blueprint: xAI (standard) or ElevenLabs (optional). xAI use is additionally gated by an explicit provider disclosure confirmation inside the Audiobook Blueprint. Voice blocks and chapter MP3 masters are stored in a private Supabase bucket. For chapter mastering, temporary signed audio URLs may be sent to fal.ai / Features & Labels, Inc.. For an optional M4B master, temporary audio and technical chapter/metadata information may be processed by CloudConvert. Provider API keys remain server-side. Provider-side processing and retention are governed by the respective provider terms, privacy notices and contractual settings.
Users should not upload unnecessary sensitive personal data or third-party confidential manuscripts and must have the required rights to the manuscript and intended audio use. Deleting the audiobook project removes project records and known private audio assets under the service's deletion workflow, subject to provider-side temporary copies and mandatory legal retention requirements that HSP cannot unilaterally shorten.
BookCast uses the manuscript-derived Book DNA already stored in the selected book profile. Structured Book-DNA content may be sent server-side to OpenAI to create the spoiler-safety boundary, podcast script and subsequent spoiler check. The original manuscript does not need to be uploaded again for BookCast. The BookCast project stores the generated script, spoiler-safety information, production status, selected voice provider/voices and, where applicable, a spoken-title form used only for TTS.
During audio production only the text segment required for the relevant host turn, the selected preset voice ID, language and technical synthesis parameters are sent to xAI or ElevenLabs. Temporarily signed segment URLs and technical audio information may be processed by CloudConvert for final MP3 mastering. The finished MP3 master is then stored in the private Supabase bookcast-assets bucket and delivered through time-limited signed URLs. Temporary segment files are removed by the production workflow after successful mastering. Provider API keys remain server-side.
Provider-side processing and retention are governed by the applicable terms, privacy notices and contractual settings of OpenAI, xAI, ElevenLabs and CloudConvert. Users should not include unnecessary sensitive personal data in BookCast scripts and must have the required rights in the book, names and intended audio use.
If a user creates or joins a Publishing House Workspace, HSP Author Tools processes the workspace name, membership role, account email, invitation status, linked-book identifiers and limited catalogue/workflow information, comments, approval decisions, activity events and team-level credit-usage summaries needed to provide collaboration. Invitation links use random time-limited tokens; only a cryptographic hash of the token is stored server-side. The raw token is shown to the inviter so it can be shared with the intended recipient.
Linked books expose only the collaboration data required by the Workspace, such as title, author, genre, workflow completion flags and campaign types. The Workspace does not automatically expose manuscript text, private Book DNA content, private AI media files or the full contents of generated campaigns. Comments and approvals are visible to members of that Workspace. Users should therefore invite only people who should receive the relevant project information and should remove access when collaboration ends.
Team usage figures are management information derived from completed HSP credit events for workspace members. They are not accounting, payroll or financial statements. Workspace owners and administrators can see more membership and usage detail than Editor, Marketing and Viewer roles where required to administer the Workspace.
Payhip is used as the commerce and checkout platform for paid subscriptions and credit top-ups. Payment data is processed by Stripe or another payment method offered through Payhip. HSP Author Tools receives product, transaction, subscription, refund and status data as well as secure checkout metadata needed to associate a purchase with the correct account, but does not receive complete payment-card data.
Depending on Payhip settings and applicable law, Payhip may calculate or handle certain digital taxes/VAT in checkout. The actual Payhip tax configuration and legal obligations for the transaction remain decisive.
More information: Payhip Privacy · Stripe Privacy.
If you contact us by email, the contact details and message content you provide are processed to handle your request. The contact form on this website does not itself submit data to our server; it opens your local email application with prepared text. The legal basis depends on the request and can include Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
If you voluntarily subscribe to the HSP Author Tools newsletter, we process your account email address, consent status, consent/version timestamps and technical provider references required to manage the subscription. The newsletter uses a double-opt-in process through Brevo; marketing emails are sent only after separate confirmation. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw this consent at any time in the account settings or via the unsubscribe link in a newsletter.
Newsletter consent applies only to optional marketing communication. Account, security, billing, legal, service-critical and transaction-related messages may be sent independently where required to provide the service, perform a contract, protect the service or meet legal obligations.
HSP Author Tools uses the Meta Pixel only after an explicit, optional marketing consent. Without that choice, the Meta Pixel script, tracking pixels and advertising cookies are not loaded. Essential storage for login, security and the requested workspace remains independent of marketing consent. If a visitor opens an HSP affiliate referral link, the visitor is asked for consent before the affiliate code, a random referral-session identifier and capture time are stored in first-party browser storage for up to 30 days. If consent is declined, the referral parameter is removed and no 30-day affiliate attribution storage is created. Affiliate reporting stores referral relationships, confirmed sale amounts, commission amounts, payout status and the affiliate's PayPal payout email where provided. Public Reader Loop pages also record server-side page scans and actively triggered outbound clicks so authors can understand use of their printed QR links. Raw IP addresses and raw User-Agent strings are not persistently stored. To reduce duplicate reloads and estimate unique readers, technical connection data is converted into a pseudonymous daily HMAC fingerprint; coarse country, device category and referrer host may also be stored. These data are used only for Reader Loop statistics, service security and abuse limitation.
Technically necessary browser storage such as Local Storage or Session Storage can be used for login/session support, security functions, workspace state and requested convenience features. Meta advertising measurement is separate and is activated only after your optional express consent.
The Supabase browser library is currently loaded through jsDelivr; the CDN provider therefore receives normal connection data when that library is loaded. A future build may host the library locally to remove this additional request.
Meta advertising measurement (currently active only with consent): With the optional “Allow marketing” choice, HSP Author Tools loads the Meta Pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin D04 X2K5, Ireland (Pixel ID 1446636747595244). It measures website visits (PageView) and verified new registrations (CompleteRegistration) to assess the effectiveness of HSP advertisements. Depending on the visitor's browser and ad interaction, Meta may receive the page URL and referrer, timestamp, technical browser/device details, IP address, Meta click identifiers and cookies such as _fbp and _fbc, and may associate these with an existing Meta account. Meta may process those data for advertising measurement and, subject to its applicable terms and settings, for other Meta business-tool purposes. Where legally applicable, HSP and Meta share responsibility for the collection and transfer of pixel event data; Meta is responsible for further processing within its services under its own privacy terms. See Meta Privacy Policy and Meta Business Tools Terms for details, data-subject contact options, retention and any transfers outside the EEA (including applicable safeguards).
The legal basis for the optional access to and storage of information on your device and related personal-data processing is your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) Austrian TKG 2021). Before consent, neither the Meta Pixel nor Meta advertising cookies are loaded. Declining does not restrict the requested Studio features. You can change or withdraw consent for future processing at any time under “Marketing cookies” in the footer. We make a best-effort deletion of first-party Meta cookies on withdrawal; this cannot undo data already transmitted or automatically remove data retained by Meta. The local choice is saved for at most 180 days before it needs to be renewed. Newsletter consent and affiliate attribution are separate decisions. HSP does not deliberately include manuscript text, email addresses, checkout/payment data or generated content in pixel events; Payhip checkout redirects do not trigger an asserted purchase. Server-side Meta Conversions API, advanced matching and customer-list uploads are not enabled in this version.
Currently: Google Search Console is used to verify domain ownership and review how the public website appears in Google Search. The verification HTML file is not a visitor analytics tag. An optional time-based one-time password (TOTP) setup can be used with Google Authenticator or another compatible authenticator app; the TOTP process itself does not require sending website visitor activity to Google. External YouTube videos are currently opened through links instead of loading an automatic embedded player. Google Analytics 4, Google Ads conversion/remarketing tags and Google Tag Manager are not currently enabled as visitor-tracking tools on this website.
Only if activated in a future version: HSP may offer Google Analytics 4 for aggregated website measurement (e.g. page views, source, interactions, approximate location/device details) and/or Google Ads conversion measurement and remarketing (e.g. ad clicks, registration conversions and pseudonymous identifiers). Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, would be a relevant recipient. Depending on the specific tags and settings, Google may process IP address, browser data, page addresses, interaction and conversion events, cookie identifiers such as _ga, _ga_* and _gcl_*, and data outside the EEA under applicable safeguards and provider rules. Details: Google Privacy Policy and Google Business Data Responsibility.
These future services are not authorised by the current Meta marketing choice and will not be switched on merely because they are described here. Before any activation, HSP must provide updated, service-specific information and obtain appropriate, granular consent for optional analytics and advertising; enable refusal and withdrawal; configure and verify Google Consent Mode v2 with appropriately denied defaults for analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization; and check provider settings, international data transfers, retention and third-party arrangements. No future Google conversion event, audience upload, enhanced conversion, automatic YouTube embed or marketing tag will be activated without that review. The applicable consent basis would be Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 165(3) TKG 2021 where required.
If you use “Withdraw from contract” or “Cancel contracts here”, we process your name, email address, contract details, optional notes and the date and time of receipt to handle the declaration and send the legally required acknowledgment (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). These data are kept for the duration of statutory evidence and retention obligations.
Sample and trailer areas generally open external platforms through links rather than automatically embedding videos. Merely opening HSP Author Tools therefore does not automatically load a YouTube video. The external provider's privacy terms apply once the user opens its link.
Accounts and workspace content are generally retained for as long as needed to provide the service and maintain the user account, or until deletion, subject to statutory retention requirements. Usage and security data is retained only as long as needed for billing, abuse prevention, technical security or legal obligations. Reader Loop event statistics are designed for an operational window of approximately 13 months; older events are excluded from author-facing statistics and should be periodically deleted. Payment, order and invoice data held by Payhip and Stripe is subject to their respective statutory and contractual retention requirements.
Subject to the GDPR, data subjects may in particular have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Consent can be withdrawn for the future where processing is based on consent.
To exercise rights, contact iac@gmx.at. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
Technical and organizational measures are used to protect personal data, including server-side secrets/API keys, access controls, Row Level Security, credit and rate limits, session checks and abuse protection. Registration and login may additionally use the configured CAPTCHA provider (Cloudflare Turnstile or hCaptcha), which processes technical connection and security data necessary to detect automated access and abuse. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
This Privacy Notice is updated when technical functions, providers or legal requirements change. The current version is made available through HSP Author Tools.
